It is not painted plastic or other copper-colored material that you can see from other manufacturers. All my tiles are made of 100% real copper.

This handmade copper backsplash tile shows a metaphor and a research tool introduced by Darwin in order to visualize his view on relationships between living and extinct creatures, as well as similarities between different species. Since the tree of life raises a timeless question of life and evanescence, it is an extremely popular theme in contemporary art.
The main tile is surrounded with 2 rectangular leaf tiles, 4 plain square tiles. In addition, as an emphasis of peace with nature, there are 2 square tiles with moon and 2 square tiles with sun. The size of each surrounding tile is 3.93″ x 3.93″ (10cm x 10cm).

Installation and maintenance

My durable backsplash tiles are 0,2″ thick (0,6 mm) and very easy to install – just like regular tiles, using about 0,18″ (3 mm) grout. Moreover, the maintenance is not a problem. Use 1/2 cup of liquid dishwashing detergent and 2 cups of warm water or mild soap solution. Use a soft cloth or rag, not an abrasive sponge, nor a pad. When cleaning the tile’s surface, wipe it gently then rinse the cloth or rag with warm water. Wipe the tile’s surface until you make sure that any soap or dishwashing detergent residue is removed. Then dry the surface with a soft cloth or a rag.
